East Central, Nebraska | i talked to multiple people today on the phone regarding this topic and no one gave me a straight answer. some where john deere ams techs that could not tell me for sure.
so on the new JD 6000's when you lose your rtk fix it goes in to extend and will continue to utilize extend for 14 days until you get an rtk fix again. i get that.
so the question is when you utilize that 14 days of extend does it start the timer back at 14 days after you receive a fix again or does it keep the time used and subtracted it from your original 14 days and eventually you run completely out of extend and are required to purchase more extend?
it seems foolish to me that deere would just restart the timer back to 14 days every time you lose your fix.
