south central IOWA | Lengthy directions are the worst. I hate when people give me more details than I can write down or remember. I hate lengthy directions so much, I catch myself doing them sometimes and think crap, I'm giving this person too much info.....well, can't stop now, might as well keep going and confuse them some more.
Then some people you tell simple directions like 1 mile east of town and 1 mile north. Then there's a pause and they say, what does the road do at 1 mile east? Is there a tee intersection or a stop sign? Nah, you'll figure it out when you go around the curve. Just look at your odometer and don't deviate from those directions.
