Jewell County KS | I am around 90 miles away from Marysville so I did not know your buddy. I have heard of the Hermesch name for some reason though.
I like the 9790 pretty well. I am not impressed with the fandrive arrangement on the 9.0 Cummins. Not enough belt wrap for the fan. I put a set of KX7 box concaves in and am happy with them also.
It is alot thirstier then the 8780 with the 8.3 also but is a bit bigger in the cleaning area.
