East River SoDak | For your situation no it is not worth it. You will not see a 20% gain in efficiency. Where you will see a 20% gain in efficiency is going from having bales in a feeder vs limit feeding hay that is spread out on clean ground (doesn't matter if unrolled or through bale processor). That being said I have a processor and wouldn't be without it because it has its place...mostly bedding pens but also feeding corn stalks or very rough coarse hay | |
