near dyersville iowa | you want the whole rundown..here it is..I dont have an auger wagon.. I have 4 300-450 bu wagons. I m a lone farmer, so an auger wagon doesnt make a lot of sense to me. The come with the big trucks..tri axles..1300 bushel capacity. So I load all four wagons. back them in the shed. This takes about 2 hours. maybe a little less. Then I wait for the truck driver to show..which of course can be anywhere from 7 am to 6 pm..you get the idea. I actually started hauling some of my own corn because its actually almost faster to drive 7 miles with a tractor than do all this other crap.
Btw..how fast can you run an auger before you start to have problems? | |
