I have relation that lives near champaign and drive a good size territory in Central IL. He said there is plenty of really good corn out there yet, with 220 bpa potential. However most of the crop is behind and as you said will need good weather from here out. If I had to take a stab I would put the state avg this year around 185 and with good weather 190ish. Pretty early to guess yield but the potential is there.

Since I'm not in a mood to argue I'm just going to say you are wrong. We are only going to be 8% off the best we have ever done? I don't see it or here it anywhere in this state. When the "really good corn" pulls 220 and the amount of replant, late plant we have had there is no way we are only off 8%.
