Spring Wheat vs Soybeans.. what gives?

Jon, you're way off base here. Saturday I drove west down SD 20 and US 212 to Gettysburg and then took 83 down to Pierre. The wheat out on 83 is shot. Most of the winter wheat was sprayed out. Some of the spring left but it is way ahead of where it should be. Yield won't amount to much if it isn't hayed. I don't look for our own spring wheat to make 40, about 20 below hopes. Our beans still have 50-60 bu potential easily after 1.5-3" of rain the last week. The forecast is not threatening at this point.
