Fairbury, NE (Southeast) | 74 was rough here. Dry, then as you said, early frost. I can't imagine with the later planting dates, extreme amount of tillage and poorer hybrids how guys raised what they did in dry conditions.
People bring up the analog years like 83, 74. 95.etc. But the fact is the crop ratings are trending higher, weather is benign, and stocks are burdensome. Until we get a hot week forcasted the markets are dead as dead can be.
