| It is serious. The cme is seriously broke. For months the experts have told us the boxes were going to break sharply to the downside. And it doesn't happen. Packers have to be smiling bigtime. Huge profits. Demand is incredible for all meats. Indicative of an economy that is getting better. Exports are good. This should be hay making time for livestock producers. Instead they(whoever they are) are going to give us a little piece instead of the whole pie. One of the things that needs fixin is how they allow an entity to have as many short positions as they want in the delivery month, but limit the number of long positions one can have. | |
