| Cattle are what makes our operation more money year in and out. Free time may have been poor choice instead I should say spread out my time more uniformly. My thoughts 4-5 yrs non rr hay. Kill it with a chemical program. Plant wheat. Likely for graze out. Double crop in Sudan or millet for my cows feed. Plant with a krause drill or some dd no till drill a bean crop. Follow that with dc wheat, full season wheat back to alfalfa.
I'm near chase. Flat and sandy. Pigweed mgmt is the main goal. If I need to graze a cutting of hay to kill pigweeds I will take in cows. | |
