I just put an Integra and a Directcommand kit in a sprayer and can't get the autoswath to work. When I enter a sprayed area it it shuts off too soon and when I enter an unsprayed area it turns on too slow, I've played with the look aheads but they just made it worse. Also when spraying in manual mode and I shut all the boom sections off except for one it beeps and says rate controller not responding and it turns off the paint on the monitor, but it continues to spray out of the section. The Integra is up to date and I think the liquid product control module is to. Anyone have any ideas or solutions? Thanks, Grootendorst

do you have the measurements for the tractor correct??

what about the measurement from the drawbar to the spray tips???

If they are not correct then the look aheads will just be fighting the configuration

The point at which autoswath turns ON/OFF is based on several factors. As mentioned the GPS measurements need to be correct. Depending on the rig this can consist of several parts. For a tractor with a pull-type implement, it is based on the distance the GPS antenna is ahead of the rear axle, the distance from the rear axle to the hitch point and also the distance from the hitch point to the application point. The lead times for ON/OFF are adjustable also. The application speed enters into this as well.

As far as not painting when only one section is On, an Integra will only paint when it sees flow through the flow meter. With a small section and a large flow meter, the flow may still be passing through but not turning the turbine thus no indicated flow and no coverage map.
