SE SD | If you're on a rural electric coop in SE SD you'll get a rebate and reduced power rates for the heat pump.
I did a ground source heat pump a few years ago when I built a new house. Tax credit made it an easy decision. Even without the tax credit it would have been a good decision.
Air to air would have been my second choice. Propane only with separate AC my 3rd. This all assumes living in the house a long time. If you're lpoking to sell soon it would be different. | |
