Texas/New Mexico Stateline | It has been a tradition in our family around the end of May when the wheat starts turning to cut a bundle and stick it in a vase or pitcher for a decoration. It is always a little sad to me when it is time to throw it out. Another harvest is done, and this harvest was very good for us on a couple farms. We'll probably keep the decoration another week or so, but it will go in the chicken coop eventually.
