SE Iowa | Something to remember with stand counts and fixed wings is that if the camera is a rolling shutter (many cameras are) the lower you fly without a gimbal, the more distortion you get. I've flown a fixed wing at 200 feet looking for stand counts, and I had enough resolution for the stand counts, but the images had too much motion blur to count plants. A fixed wing with gimbal, or a global shutter would help! | |
