The old Livestock Feeders BBQ that was in Centerville at the beach always used corn cobs back in the day. They built their pits out of cement blocks if I remember right with grates on top. Attendance was huge back then [ 60's and 70's].
I think some of the same guys that cooked at the boneyard in vermillion helped there. I remember going to them at the beach in the 70s.
Anyone grill with corncobs?
