North East Wimmera district of Victoria. | in Aust, we use Borax and honey - very small quantities like about the size of two peas each - mixed with hot water and left where there is a "trail" of ants.
The borax is poisonous and the honey attracts the ants. They gorge on it, go home and pass it on to others attracted by the sweetness. Wipes the whole nest out - no ants for quite a while! |
