Subject: Hesston 4755 Knotter problems

s.e. Pa
First time out for the year today. Baled several bales and then Knotter on the left didn't tie. Started raining at the same time so brought it home. At home I got things apart and found a broken knife arm (I think hesston calls it a stripper arm) and a broken bill hook. Had some twine wrapped up in it when I started. Both were fresh new breaks. The gear on the bill hook had gotten out of time also, but not sure if that was the cause of the problem, or another result. I also noticed that Knotter frame has a lot more slop than the others. What happened?
