Subject: JD 2623vt set-up tips

I am running a 2623vt I bought this winter for the first time. Am running in corn stalks and going to plant beans behind it. I like the tool and it seems to be doing a good job. Just curious if anyone has a few tips on how to fine tune the machine? The problem I have is my outside wings (26.5' machine) seems to be leaving a good cut with each pass that isn't filled in completely, leaving a noticeable divot. At least I think that's what causing it. I am pulling it behind a JD 9120, going around 9-9.4 mph. Depth wise I'm not exactly sure how deep I am running, I set it till the tractor would pull it good, but it is doing a nice job cutting residue and flipping some dirt on top. I have the fore-aft between D and E on the indicator, closer to D. I have the harrows set with constant down-pressure around 600psi on the gauge. Any tips or tricks for a smoother finish or better set-up would be greatly appreciated as I'm still getting used to this tool. Tia
