Subject: RE: Insurance question

Central Texas
Local fence laws are a factor in liability cases, however there are many other liability exposures for a farm, ranch or other personal situations which need liability coverage for protection. Another thing is anyone can file suit against anyone else for most any reason and said suits will incur considerable expense to answer and defend the suit. If have liability coverage for the situation the insurer should provide defense even if suit has no merit. Whereas with no insurance, defendant would responsible for defending suit even if suit has no merit. Even if a person prevails in a suit, the defense costs can be financially crushing if no insurer to cover them. Lack of adequate liability can be a case of being penny wise and pound foolish.
