western iowa,by Denison
leave it open-rafters will dry out-not as big of deal if it discolor's-lot of air flow up to dry it-maybe leave your north side open -quit trying to use your north wall as windbreak-maybe stack bales 20 ft away on north side 2 high in winter-more bracing in your building and use some structural screws-the good ones-your building should have about $2500 of structural screws in it-and about $1000 more bracing not counting labor-Amish ain't got no hold on my ideas!!!!! I don't like how they forget to rebrace-and brace-and don't listen. I have gone in behind some perfectly built spec buildings and rebraced them.
Make sure you get some structural screws We source them from a guy that I have worked with-would be glad to help down the road Steve with rebracing ideas
