North Mo. | not really bushhog does a poor job unless you are low and I always hated to cut the undergrowth besides this mach runs at what ever speed you can stay on has 2 pillow block bearing. The Jury is not out on the rolling of pasture in fact it really hasn't went to trial yet. I have few places where seed heads are heavy and I plan on rolling a bit and leaving a bit for high density grazing. If I can will post a pic of what rye looks like after it is planted and rolled. A few plants still standing but according to my son all are bruised same with the fescue.
