Subject: Question about Deere's Vari-Cool and 9330 tractor......

Blvd d'Espair Bowhill, Sth Aust

My  09 build 9330 has got to the point where I will need to  deal with  the worn splines.    The rattle from the cooling fan is  frightening, altho it hasn't thrown  a fan speed code yet.  Just over 3,000 hrs.
There is nothing at all in my  Operators Manual about lubrication,  and  I can't see any plugs on the sheave.  I am aware that on more recent versions of Vari-Cool they  thought to mention the requirement  for lubrication, and  have made some basic provision  for that.         I have watched  several videos about it.

My question is......  do the required  parts  for  9330 now  have provision  for lube, or  will they be identical to  the original ?   I recall seeing on here where someone  had drilled and  installed a grease  zerk on the sheave to facilitate  lube, and  wondering if  I could get that done  before installing new parts that are otherwise the same as original, although I wondered about causing  a balance issue.

I was hoping someone with  specific experience could  guide me.
