Subject: Harvesting forage pea seed - any experts out there?

Seward/Saline, Nebraska
Planted 40 acres of 4010 forage peas for cover crop seed. 20 acres organic, 20 acres conventional. Both look really good to my inexperience eye - hip tall at bloom. Question is: will these direct cut the same way yellow peas would or do they need to be swathed and picked up? Any other tips would be helpful.
