I have never noticed this before..... but was looking at a truck and peered at the tag in the door jamb. As follows:
Front axle (Gawr) 7000 lbs
Rear axle (Gawr) 13500 lbs
GVWR: 18750 LBS.
Last time I checked 7000 + 13500 = 20500
So why is the GVWR 18750?
This is a non cdl truck not that I thought that would matter.
Thoughts? TIA
