I once (when I was about 15 years old) mistook quarts for pints when I was told how much Sencor4L I was supposed to put in a spray tank...and I got a double rate on some heavier clay soil. (I think it was almost a quart of 4L!) It singed a bit where the sprayer overlapped...but the rest of the field was fine. They used to have a label on Sencor to put down maybe a 1/3 of a pound...and incorporate it..and then come back with another 1/3 over the top. I think this was directed at velvetleaf and cocklebur if I'm not mistaken.
