Subject: RE: What is your manure source?

Our wean to finish manure is absolutely, unfortunately not high in P. We use phytase enzyme in the feed instead of additional phosphorus, but I think the "new" feed consisting of byproducts, ddg's and pixie dust has a reasonable amount of nitrogen but less than expected P and K. So, perhaps if you could change where you manure comes from you could get a handle on your P situation. Of course if it's all your own livestock that might not be practical.
