We tested the system replacing each harness one at a time until all wiring was replaced and no change to the failure. We then changed the steering motor with no change to the problem. I then changed the nav module again, the system then started to work. We had used this second module with the original steering motor and it failed. What I think happened was when I got the first system the WiFi communication did not work. We looked for software from Case and updated the system and that did not fix the WiFi. We learned later that the WiFi was disabled by Case. Back to the fix I do believe the problem was indeed software, any combination of the old nav module or steering motor caused failure. We did not update software in the second system and it seems to be working. When it works the system does a very good job of driving I like the way it works, as long as it works!
