Southern Illinois | If it was me I would have sprayed it with Liberty prior to working it if the conditions were right (warm and lots of sun). However, since you cannot undo it to me your only option is gramaxone unless you can wait for the plant to come out of its defensive state. I'm thinking max rate of Gramaxone, with 4 oz of Metribuzin, max rate of crop oil sprayed with nozzles that spray forwards/backwards besides just down (i.e. asymmetric Greenleaf nozzles). Do it on a sunny day and if the field is big enough I bet you will see them turning white before you leave the field. I would be very careful about off target drift though, hopefully you have some good field boundaries to catch it. | |
