western WI | We plowed our garden last year, planted, and then after the stuff started coming up, I used 44x56 inch paper (fiber) paper chipboard sheets from where I work. I cut them to fit and weighted them down with red bricks and cardboard cores that our aluminum coils are wound up on. The only weeding that had to be done was a small amount of in-row weeding. Worked well and will do it again this year. I used no herbicide either. | |
