Subject: RE: problem with fieldview

Southwest Illinois
We had the same problems and have had similar issues in the past during the 2 years we ran it. We found a fix for those issues this year. First you take the I Pad out of the tractor and put it back in your desk drawer or maybe let the kids play with it. Then you remove the Ipad combo mount from your 20/20 monitor and disconnect the wiring. Finally unplug the fieldview drive and throw it away. The fieldview drives have no value since most of them are given away except for the few folks who got suckered into paying for it. At the end of the season you dump all your planting data onto a USB and upload to Agleader, Farmworks or whatever software you have. These simple steps eliminated all the headaches fieldview had caused.

Until they can develop hardware instead of relying on Apple and all their quirky BS, fieldview will always be a headache. All the retailers and dealers they have pushing this as well as most of their own territory sales folks have no clue how to trouble shoot anything. If you do a search for fieldview on here you will find nothing but threads of people having problems with the ipad and its interaction with the software.
