NW ILLINOIS | My son runs a outdoor power repair shop.
The other day he was trying to get some allen
bolts out of some coils on a Kohler engine.
One bolt came out fine the other three stripped
the heads. He had cleaned them before starting.
A friend of his told him to stretch a rubber band
over the end of the allen and tap it into the head
of the stripped bolt.
All three came out.
I would have never thought of that.
These were 1/4" allen bolts.
