Subject: I'm starting to hate tillage, but also hate weeds.

South West Central, Ohio.
Burned down cornstalks going into beans with 2 4 D, glypho, and sharpen , thought I got the marestail , but some look to be greening up and going to survive. We have been doing some tillage thinking it may help with weeds, but after watching the fuel gauges keep going down, the soil blowing away, the wash outs and now the soil crusted over I'm starting to second guess this. We need bigger equipment if we are going to do much tillage, when I figure that cost in I can't see how it pays. Maybe I need to start fall spraying and get ahead of these weeds.
