West Central Iowa | There both plenty expensive and mostly last resort here, and if the calf is to far gone we don't even waste our money. When it comes to the expensive drugs I think people just use what they've had luck with. Here it's been Nuflor for most respritory disease, and draxxin for pinkeye on calves if there light or if they're purebred breeding stock. But, we can usually get away with oxytetracycline, dexamethasone, and banamine for most illnesses. I hadn't even heard of Zuprevo till recently. | |
