If you want a longer lasting shell of the combine I'd say a JD is a better buy. We had a 7720 that lasted real well till 4650 hrs & a 9500 for 4600 engine hrs. I did not see them as hard to work on. Look at Tractor House & see what they are showing for used combines & Deere is the most dominant combine for numbers of all the brands -so that's a good item for parts availability. Or IH axials -are popular as well & the Gleaners in certain area's.. Not well versed on NH.
