Note: 1st I posted nearby charts on the Beans Weekly and Monthly tracking May contract

When I got to corn - I chose to use the continuation July contract on the Weekly and Daily as it better showed the 350 - 360 area as suppt.
Monthly Corn chart is nearest still tracking May

I think many use the nearby on longer time frames.   They seem to work better on the longer time frames such as Monthly and Quarterly.
Sometimes they show slightly different picture and they do affect indicators and moving averages.
Dont let the different Time frame confuse you - ( as I sometimes do).

Note - I just checked the link and noticed the charts are labeled as the year 27 - not 17.
thats what you get when you 1st make a mistake then use cut and paste.
Maybe that just means we will be talking the same price in '27??
whats 10 years more or less.
