We have a Landoll VT tool and I love it in the fall for sizing up cornstalks and soybean residue. In the spring though, it stays in the shed! Only tillage I care to use in the spring is a field cultivator. No-till success varies so much 'here' in SESD. Some fields that have a nice roll and drain well it works great! Flat land that holds a lot of water and ponds it doesn't work very good at all. The futher west in the state you go, the better No-till works. I wish I could no-till more. It would sure save a lot on fuel, repairs, machinery, etc...
