I sprayed a pint per acre the first go around in late March, barely killed the dandilions some survived. Chickweed browned out but came back. I put 2 pints on this 2nd time, seems like the chickweed is starting to die now. I spray it when I spray my prowl which I put down in March, and again 6 weeks later which is tomorrow, but I went ahead and did it ahead of the rain. I have a 25 gallon sprayer, I spray about 15 gallon per acre. I have a pressure gauge on it and I go about 4.5mph wide open on the low side with my 2520. I spray all the farm yards, my yard, dad's yard, grandma's yard, and two of my uncle's yards when I spray. Probably about 7-8 acres total. When I spot spray, 2-3oz to the gallon takes care of everything but the clover, that usually takes a couple doeses of dicamba.

What exactly are you spraying 2pts per acre of? Even 4# amine 2,4-d should never miss a dandelion at that rate.
