If you are headed out and laid down flat with snow, I would think it similar to rolling rye.  With wind it is not laid down and held there so it may stand up some what. I would be afraid if it were mine that the wheat that had a foot of wet snow is done. Then throw in the 32 degrees, oh boy what a mess
