your fertilizer opener needs to be going 4" deep. The numbers use the seed as the starting point.
If you are wanting the fertilizer to be underneath the seed, strip till would be a better choice.
Not true, 2x2 means 2" away and at least 2" deep.
Nope, greywolf is right. 2x2 means 2" beside the seed and 2" below. So if you are planting 2" deep, fertilizer should be 4" deep.
