Really liking the acurite system so far. Can buy it for 120 on sale. Links into router so you can see it anywhere in the world. App is very easy to use. I have 3 of them all linked together now, looking to add a couple more and have all my fields covered. Rainfall has always been within a hundredth or two of my official gauge.

What does it cost to have internet linkup and access to the weather station?
I believe with Davis it cost an anual fee, but I dont think it real time for the cheaper subscription, unless you hook the higher dollar dater logger/router direct to the internet and then it is automatically on weather undergound for the world to see.
The Davis vantage pro 2 plus easilt transmitts 700 feet or more flawlessly with its solar powered external systems.. I believe it can transmit up to 1000 ft and you can add relay stationsto go out farther but they cost more $ as well.
