I've had a Davis Vantage Vue for several years. Seems accurate. Sometimes the rain gauge isn't quite but that is a sign I need to clean it which happens once or twice a year.
Have mine mounted 200' away. It tracks daily, monthly and yearly rain amounts.
Take a look on Amazon. There are several choices. Price depends on what you get. I think mine was around $350.00
