Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I had a 750 for several years with no screen problems. This spring when I fired it up, I got a message about the screen This was with current firmware. It was sent to Ag Express. They sent back an estimate which was much more expensive than I was used to for a screen replacement on an Insight. My dealer and I worked out a swap to utilize some of the other equipment I already had. I got rid of the 750, they paid for the repair to resell it.
I was never all that happy with the 750 anyway. I was spoiled by the data management routines that I had learned on the Ag Leader. So this year I am using two steering unlocked Insights. One is a 2004 and the other a 2008. Both have had their screens replaced. I was using the 2004 and the other day, the screen failure message showed on that one again so the replacement touchscreen didn't last as long as the original. |
