Northern Indiana | Your rep told you that because once the 2630 has been opened up by anyone except Deere, the 2630 cannot be used as a core for a reman display. Also the reman display has warranty. Basically if you suspect anything but the touch screen is going bad, it's best to send it to Deere for the reman program
Also would add, you cannot straight out buy a reman display because they don't come with basics activation.. a 2630 w/o basics is a paperweight
