What do you guys do if you try to trade a piece of equipment and a dealer comes back with a ridiculously low price on the trade value of your piece ?
1 tell them to go to hell and don't bother with them again ?
2 tell them that your not stupid and you what other pieces are listed for on the lot ?
3 just figure well that's what it's worth and do the trade ?

I say thanks for your time, but I'll have to pass..... and proceed to put ads on Craigslist and agtalk classifieds...... By doing this, I'm reminded why I deal with plants for a living instead of people.
7 out of ten people are awesome.
There's the one guy who calls you and belittles your equipment, like I owe him something.
The next one lonely guy in his moms basement a thousand miles away who talks for an hour, then decides he's too far away to purchase your piece.
And in turd place is the guy who settles on a price.... and then calls back saying I'm responsible for delivery.......... |
