west central illinois
We are done with corn. Started the 10th of April and finished Tuesday.

After 2008 spring I realized that when it the second week of April and the weather is good you go. You can't sit around and ask what ifs. In 08,9,10,11,13,15 when these patterns hit they can stay for a while and then it's June and you are mudding it in and hoping for the best. I stand a better chance making a good yield in this position than I do in the middle of June dragging through or around mud holes.
