Thinking about a trimmer. What I have used in the past is a borrowed trimmer on two wheels that you walk behind so I guess I'm looking for something fairly heavy duty. Probably something with a shoulder strap to make it a bit more manageable. For whatever reason Stihl and Honda seem to be the most interesting to me. I think without knowing anything I would lean towards Honda. I have read on here that Stihl can be picky on fuel and we have never had a fuel issue related to E10 on our Honda 5 and 8 HP engines so I would hope for the same performance on a Honda trimmer. I've read about Echo and Husqvarna on NAT as well and they seem well liked but I'm not sure what they would offer that would be better than the other two brands. Really the most important thing to me is that it starts reliably. Honda has a good reputation for me there. How do the others compare?
