The black sand beaches of Jamaica, IL | Sorry haven't used one with an ontrac 2 but do remember that you could do it. Still using the ontrac 1 on ours as they're holding together for now. I did have one that was used with hydraulic steering which worked ok but was hard to dial in, probably had something to do with the bang bang outback e drive it worked with.
Good luck finding someone that knows a lot about these systems, we had trouble getting a lot of support even when these systems were fairly new. Mostly had to do with the dealer as they did not sell many of these systems locally. Been slowly losing components but still have enough spare parts to keep going until we're finally forced to make an upgrade.
It might be easier to find out from the ontrac 2 end on how it communicates via CAN. The hydraulic setup used a custom wiring harness that plugged the 4 pin deutch connector from the CAN harness into the e drive ecu. But I don't personally know enough about it to be of much help. |
