Subject: RE: Plot day-pic

jackson county WI
We put down a 100# urea 50# ams 40# of p 50# of k and 10# of zinc. We side dress 28. Plot is 90-100 day. I think there was 7 golden harvest and 6 rob see co varieties. Rest is a mix of prairie brand, pioneer, dkc, channel, and cropland. I could tell one of the dsm was kinda huffy that there was so much of the competition corn in it, but to me it is the fairest way.
I had several smart folks tell me to wait also. We only planted this one farm on Saturday and Sunday, but have put planter back in shed for now. If there is damage from the cold, I guess I'm glad the plot is in so I can see which varieties handle it better or worse.
Last year 95d32 and 96v99 golden harvest where are hottest numbers. With avg-good weather this is 140-170 bushel environment, which we farm a lot of in this county.
