Subject: Spraying Question chemical for overlap

Wisconsin
Mixing chemicals. In the past I always mix the rate for my field acres including a extra 7% and if I have some left I use for the next field or up the rate as I get close to done so I run out as the field is done or cut back a bit which is rare. Normally spray all of one mix unless delay planting of course so only cleaning out after each crop is done.

Question: Is this the right approach or should I add the chemical for the given acres and increase water to allow for overlap? Most fields are 45-65 acres.

Not all fields are rectangle and have some pinch rows. One field is 7 acres and 3 passes after the outer row and it is done.

120 ft boom with 6 shutoffs running rate controller with section control for equipment.

Thanks!
