| So... how many trucks does this guy have? Going by what was in the article, he hauls for profit, which to me means commercial, and if so, he is allowed up to 6 commercial vehicles. If he has more, he is knowingly violating the ordinance. If not, code enforcement doesn't seem to have a leg to stand on.
Whether the ordinance is right or wrong is another question, but he and the Farm Bureau should have been fighting the ordinance for the past 5 years instead of trying to appease the local government. 60k is excessive, but that's what happens when you allow an ordinance to stay on the books.
